There is no single “right” way to give birth. Your plan may include an unmedicated birth, an epidural, a scheduled cesarean, or simply taking things one appointment at a time.
Certified doula support

Professionally trained. Personally present.

Questions are welcome. Concerns are never “too much” or “silly.” You deserve clear information and support that helps you make decisions with confidence.
Your values, culture, identity, lived experience, and goals deserve to be honored throughout pregnancy, birth, and the transition into parenthood.
About Lynnette
I may be a certified birth worker, but my work goes beyond showing up the day your baby is born. I believe every family deserves to feel informed, respected, and supported throughout pregnancy, birth, and the transition into parenthood.
Before becoming a doula, I spent years working alongside children, families, and individuals navigating difficult circumstances. That experience taught me how to remain calm under pressure, listen without judgment, and help people find their voice during some of life's most vulnerable moments.
Those skills are just as important in the birth room as any comfort measure or labor technique.
My approach is rooted in the belief that there is no single “right” way to give birth. Whether you're planning an unmedicated birth, an epidural, a scheduled cesarean, or you're simply figuring things out one appointment at a time, my role is to support your goals—not someone else's vision of what birth should look like.
I am passionate about serving families who may not always feel seen and heard in healthcare spaces because I've been there, too. I strive to create an environment where questions are welcomed, informed decisions are encouraged, and you never have to wonder whether your concerns are “too much” or “silly.”
You deserve compassion and support that honors your values, your culture, and your lived experience.
When you choose to work with me, you're not just gaining a doula for birth; you're gaining someone who believes in building community, sharing trusted resources, and standing alongside you as you navigate one of the biggest transitions of your life.
Birth doesn't have to be perfect to be powerful.
My goal is to help you feel supported, prepared, and confident—whatever your story looks like.
Ways I can support you
Space to ask questions, explore options, clarify goals, prepare for appointments, and feel more confident as birth approaches.
Consistent physical, emotional, and informational support focused on your comfort, your voice, and your preferences as labor unfolds.
Connection to trusted information, local resources, and practical support before and after Baby arrives—because no one should have to build their village by themselves.
What support can look like
Clear, evidence-based information to help you ask questions and make informed choices.
Encouragement and preparation that help you communicate what matters to you.
Calm, grounded support when birth takes an unexpected turn.
Support that slows down the noise and keeps the focus on you.
A letter to soon-to-be parents
Whether you're feeling excited, overwhelmed, cautiously hopeful, or all of the above, you've found yourself in a season filled with questions, decisions, and more opinions than anyone could possibly sort through. If you're looking for someone to help you make sense of it all without taking over, you're in the right place.
I want you to know that you don't have to figure it all out alone.
I'm a certified doula, but that only tells part of the story. I believe birth is deeply personal, and no two families should be expected to walk the same path when everyone is on their own, unique journey.
My role isn't to hand you a script or convince you that one kind of birth is better than another. My role is to stand alongside you, to help you understand your options, protect your voice, adapt when plans change, and remind you that your experience matters.
I believe everyone deserves respectful, evidence-based care, regardless of their background, income, identity, or birth plan. I know that many families—especially those from historically marginalized communities—walk into pregnancy and birth carrying valid concerns about being dismissed or overlooked. I don't take those concerns lightly. I had them myself.
Whether your birth is quiet or chaotic, medicated or unmedicated, straightforward or unexpectedly complicated, you'll have someone whose focus is on you. Someone who knows when to step in, when to step back, and how to help create space for informed decisions and meaningful support.
Beyond birth, I love connecting families with resources, building community, and helping people find the support they need before and after Baby arrives. I believe no one should have to build their village by themselves.
If we're a good fit, I hope you'll leave our time together feeling respected and confident—not because everything went according to plan, but because you were never expected to navigate it alone.
I'm honored you're here, and I can't wait to hear your story.
